If you haven’t sent me a friend request on youtube – please do 🙂

Shade and Illuminate is a contouring cream (creme) by Tom Ford – and is part of his new makeup collection line.

Its the first time I’ve seen a contouring and highlighting cream in a LARGE beauty line (think bobbi brown, mac etc…) as most are powders. This is great news for me as i prefer to highlight and contour with creams (they look more natural to me).

Both shades (1 and 2) both have a highlighter and contouring cream in both. 14g of product in total – which means its gonna take you a while to get through it!

The light shade has no real visible shimmer yet really does give the skin a GLOW. Its moist and easy to apply but works best over un-powdered skin (though i have used it over powder and it did work remarkable well).

The contour shade has a cool undertone (which is good as shadows tend to be grey!). They blend well and depending on how you apply them will dictate how “strong” the final look is.

These compacts retail at £55 here in the UK.

The Shade and Illuminate brush retails at £55 also, and while not “necessary” it really is a great brush and i’m glad i have it in my kit now.

All in all for size and ability to preform (that greatly depends on if you really want to learn to contour and highlight?!?!) this product ranks up their with the best.

Thank you for your time.
